I agree with you on several points: Joe shouldn't be slamming women. As only women can have a say on the subject that a man would just never understand. What was he thinking?
I totally agree with his objective and honest perspectives on martial arts. 95% of us live in a fantasy world where we think we can 'defend' ourselves. Joe has lived (and lives) in a world where self-defense is very real, every day. So personally, I will put up with his crap (and man there's a bunch of it
) to get his point of view.
As for minority comments? I haven't really noticed Joe make any comments about someones race. But even if he did, he can say what he wants. Didn't you know that? The only people who can't mouth off about race are white males. Or are you totally out of touch with the current view of society?
To me, an ad hominem attack is still an ad hominem attack, whether you use street language or pretty words.
Oh, and don't get me wrong, I'm not defending Joe. I still think he's a P E C K E R W O O D.
If the forum get's tired of him he'll either straighten out or leave. If not, he's ALWAYS good for entertainment value, which I believe is the whole point of his posts.
