Some gym questions
When doing free weight squats (in a cage/rack), where do you rest the bar? It hurts like HELL when I try to rest it, so where am I supposed to rest it? Or, am I supposed to get some sort of comfort thing/towel?
Also, what's better, biking/running on a stationary bike/treadmill or just real biking/real running? Is it necessarily bad to do stationary bikes/treadmills? I've heard people say that they are ineffective and a waste of time, but I like using them much better (more convenient and user friendly than say running on a track).
