Exactly I don't know what you're strong points and week points are and you may need to develop you're game further before you will know which type of boxing style suits you best. If you have some of the same physical characteristics as Ali, fast for your size and have a good jab and quick feet then Ali would be a great fighter for you to emulate. Look at you're physical attrubutes as well as the points of boxing you tend to excell in the most and develop your self as a fighter accordingly that's the best advice I could give you.

The main thing if you're trying to be like Ali is you've got to study his fights. Ali fought two different ways when he first launched on to the pro scene and when he knocked out Sonny Liston Ali was strong and extremely fast for his size, he could dance and his foot work was great. If you want to fight like that study those fights watch his foot work and watch any footage you can find of him training. But the key to all of Ali's early success was in his foot work and his timing. Then after Ali came back from his two year retirement he found he wasn't nearly as fast as he was before and he had to change his style. He start playing the rope a dope he used it to beat Foremen and he used it against Frazier. He conditioned really hard and would make his opponents fight really hard and knock them out or hurt them in the later rounds. He still had extremely fast hands and he could still dance but not the way he used to his fighting style changed dramatically. If you want to fight this way you need to learn how to absorb punishment take a hit and keep your self protected against the ropes.
