I'd say 5 years. With 3 classes per week.....
Naw, not only do you have to reach a very high standard, you also have to learn how to teach (which is a different thing altogether). The best players in any sport or art rarely make the best trainers.
No one can say how long this takes. It depends most on how much you want it.
