I apologize. It is a part of our curriculum though our version is Thai Boxing is heavily modified. The concept of checking, kicking, footwork, elbows, knees and certain other aspects is a big part of what we try and accomplish. By breaking what we do down to a more gross motor level and allowing the scenario to dictate the action we can focus not on sparing, but more as a first strike or follow up option. Anyway I apolgize for not taking a moment as to how this thread would relate to this specific forum.
