I only speak on experience so I don't say what I think only what I know and I know what works and what will get you killed.

You may have been asking me a Q but thge way you asked I took it as shit talkin, which you did.

First off I don't practice any specific art I train for urban street defense. What the hell is "combat sport". COMBAT AND SPORT DO NOT BELONG IN THE SAME SENTENCE. In combat people lose lives or take some, in sport fighting they play pattsy cake. I train for the streets, it's the only place that fighting matters.

If your art can't get you hOme to kiss your loved ones then WHY THE HELL PRACTICE IT. WHY DEDICATE YOUR LIFE TO IT UNLESS IT WILL KEEP YOU FROM LOSING YOUR LIFE.

Yes I'm an asshole, but I'm an asshole that has experience, knowledge, and more than enough heart to lone the lion.
Goat nipples,
Look I'm not even gonna try to reason with you about the " shit talking", I'm just gonna ask you a few questions. First off, what makes you so certified that people here have to take your every word at face value? NOTHING. You don't mention any credentials, any teachers, you're just a " tough guy" that " trains for the streets" and expects everyone to believe you. Unlike other people, I don't think that way, if I see something that may be beneficial for my training I study it carefully, I ask questions and then I draw my own conclusions. I know plenty of martial artists that "train for the street", thing is, most of them are so busy training for "combat" that they forget about what really counts in a fight. Your physical attributes, your footwork, your cardio, hours spent conditioning etc. I told you my opinion, and I even stated that it was my opinion, no more and no less. It wasn't shit talking, if I question what my instructor says to me, then what makes you so special that we have to listen to you and not doubt? I train for results, and I don't claim that I train for " the streets", but I am a conditioned athlete and I know my limits, I don't chant mystical chants or do special chi exercises, I work my ass off seven days a week and I spend time on the mat and in the ring. Oh, and your little buddy, what's his name? The eighteen dude, I don't know him either, so as far as I know, you guys could have just seen this on the net and liked it and posted something here. Read my initial post carefully, it's nothing more than common sense questions and statements. And only an insecure person would have such a rash reaction over it. I never said that the push ups didn't work, I just said that I didn't know wether they were functional or not. And by the way, what do you call experience? Please give me your definition for this term. Hopefully we can avoid future scuffles, because honestly, this is a waste of time. Thanks
