Some have said that the guard is not the place to be. Sure if you have a lousy guard you don't want to go to your back. But my question qas specifically ways to enter the guard not whether its the place to be.
So far I got one response on this : push them, when they push back, pull guard. Any other takers?
BTW I remember a previous instructor of mine from Samurai Club in Toronto Canada. He had an awesome guard, finished 95% of his opponents from it, and each match lasted less than 60 seconds. So I have a totally different outlook on guard, to me its not a position of disadvantage especially in a grappling match (i..e not NHB fight).
