Damn spanky good one! You to Terry.

Okay when I came in to this discussion I was totally expecting to flame tai chi big time. However you guys have been so respectful here I guess I won’t. Damn way to ruin my fun guys.

Honestly though, is tai chi really a martial art? I’ve seen them in the park many times doing slow rhythmic kata type forms. Do they even spar? How can you become a good fighter without fighting? I can do karate kata for 10 hours a day but this wont help me in a tournament. Same with shadow boxing. Not to say kata/ shadow boxing aren’t good for other things.

My answer is JKD because all I’ve ever seen doing tai chi are women and old people.
