This is a Judo throw. It was originally designed from a holding position with arms extended. The foot goes to the knee and pushes it to the inside and then you twist the body over. I use this throw quite often in BJJ. I like the hip toss as well since it is very effective and quick to apply. Somtimes I like to grab on and feel it out for a min. and then shoot under the arm and grab the collar pulling myself to the inside grab the opposite collar in the front with the other hand and then flip them over.
