I had a phone conversation with Dan over a year ago when I was looking for someone to train JKD with. I asked him about Paul and about someone else in L.A. named Cas Magda. Dan is very ethical and would not bad mouth anyone, and his answer was basically, "They are both very good and it depends exactly what you want to learn." I have a feeling that he does not approve of the way Paul has gotten into hundreds of street fights, many of which he started, just to see how the art worked for real. |
