don't fret ... practice eith your hands more if your not happy with them. Extend your sparring time. Idea if you want to create more depth perception with your punches and increase power and accuracy do this. Take a piece of something that is about 1 inch thick and light. Put it behind the piece of paper. Now put this on a concrete wall with tape. Now hit the paper as hard as you can without hitting the concrete. practice every day. First week will hurt, but keep practicing and you'll get better hands and great depth perception. Hope this will help...
