I agree with NUTS and NWPTRAINER. I am a bouncer in NYC and from the all the bouncer that I know very few have any formal martial art experience and less with any rankling. The y usually rely on there size to intimidate. At the club I work at (medium size 3 floors) I find that the majority of fights are caused by the bouncers and they can't fight. I have had few fights in relation and I think its becuase I have respect for people so yeah I try to be firm but respectful (not a puss realistic). I always tell the other bouncers if you can't respect the individual have respect for what they may know in terms of fighting. Some of the guys are bigger than me and I would say "if you did this to me I would...."
