BJJ - check out that link I posted regarding wrestling injuries. It is odd that if you dad has studied Judo and lets you take BJJ he would have a problem with wrestling. I mean if that is really the only reason. You simply are not going to get thrown like in Judo or JJ, maybe he is confusing folk style/freestyle with Greco Roman. I really think that you should have him speak with the coach maybe the trainer to see what are the common injuries. Again, my experience its the problems associated with dieting wearing plastics in practice and losing5-10lbs of water weight (I think plastics are illegal now in practice). Hey you might get a scholarship for college.
