I agree this can become a danger. The day I walk into a Krav Maga class, look at at what is fundamentally being taught and say to myself "this is rediculous", will be the day I find something new to train in. Sometimes, when the trend fades, the people who are true to the art stick around and it becomes stronger for it. In the meantime, if the people who come to the school because they want to look like J-Lo keep the doors open for people like me, then I say, let them come, just don't dumb things down for them.
