Learning how to fight can give someone confidence, which can, without discipline, lead to overconfidence which is the down fall any fighter (in or out of the ring). Coupled with excessive drinking, which lowers you inhibitions and can make you even more confident and at the same time retarding motor function/jugdgement etc. With that said you are the one that makes the choice, to show off/get attention, don't blame MA.
Honestly, I don't drink and never have but as a fighter I would be concerned about the loss of control. Also remember I always say if you can't have respect for the person have respect for what they may know. Anyone can get dropped.
I think Van damme got into a bar fight in amsetrdam a few years ago talked crap and go his ass handed to him....so be careful. And if you don't want to stop the sauce cool....you use moderation.
