Default American Kenpo - Good, bad?

Im gonna start takin these kenpo classes cause I think its time I start taking classes to get better. I think itd benefit more from classes then I would training myself. The main instructor is Hanshi Jack Searcy. He has about 45 years of experience, 3 10th degree black belts, school of the year in america for 2 years in a row. He trains the military and 10 world champions goto the school. It takes about 4-5 years to get black belt there. Only thing I dont like is they do no-contact sparring, but I think thats only when you first start. Also. they certified a style after him called Searcys American Kenpo. I think its more chinese based and it has more high kicks ( I think most kenpo styles have low kicks, not sure ). Joe Lewis visits the dojo too sometimes. And they goto tournaments all over the place.

So what do you guys think, good, bad? Should I go for it?
