is the fact that they don't compete with other styles. sure people will give me some half arsed excuses such as "our style is to lethal to be used in competitions". What a bunch of bullcrap. Open competitions have been a part of chinese, japanese, and korean history. Competitions sponsered by rich merchants, one style or the government were common. Practioners of differnt styles came and competed against each other, that's why their styles stayed "freash" and continued to evolve. I am sick and tired of stylists saying "oh since we can't do this or that" they won't compete. SICK OF IT.
