Yes. This is not only true with CMAs, also malaysian-indonesian-filipino arts.
You can't learn serious things by going to 2-3 classes a week..... it is an important time commitment and even then won't imply that you will get anything if you don't become an indoor student.
There is a huge difference in what indoor and outdoor students learn....
