Where are you located at? There might be some qualified people here in the forum.
I'm partial to FMA as a well rounded form of self-defense. You might consider judo or a form that will start you off with falling and rolling. The reason is as we get older, the need to be loose and limber, becomes more apparent. Basic exercises such as falling and rolling will provides you with loose joints and conditioning through body impact.
