well Ryan i can tell you from actual experiance the rib cage will cave in with out exerting much effort i got jumped once and kicked one of the attackers in the chest with a side kick and it cave in his ribs now i know i can hit harder than i kicked him...

the reason a 3 way strike isnt hard is because it there in the forms and wooden dummy techniques and i guess because i spent four years 12 hours a day on wing chun.... and i didnt think the question was about actual technique but whether or not the style had effective moves .. on based on the attitude most people have that effective means damage causing or pain giving wing chun is certainly up there

and i wasnt actualy suggesting the removal of the head with a kick or elbo arnt we allowed poetice liscence i was suggesting that yes you learn power striking in mauy thai but wing chun has just slightly deadlier applications of force

oh and i keep forgeting everyone else knows it all and can do it all already
