Well, the branch of Doce Pares that I've seen the most of is GM Cacoy's Eskrido variation. It's specialty would be single stick - and, past that, I'd say locking, disarming, and throwing. It does also have all the other aspects, too, but, IMO, that's its specialty.

Traditional Doce Pares, I believe, is well known for its espada y daga work but I'm not sure if they consider it a specialty. I think, though, from what I've seen, it'd either be single stick or espada y daga.

All the Doce Pares that I've seen has been effective.
