THe two fighters meet in the center of the ring. Randleman throws a kick that lands on Couture. Randleman throws a jab that misses. COuture presses Randleman against the fence, and is landing knees. COuture has his hands behind Randleman's head like he did against belfort. Couture has randleman against the fence, and now randleman throws a knee that lands. Randleman reverses Couture and has Randy against the fence with 3:30 left.

Couture lands a knee, and reverses randleman. Couture frustrating randleman with the standup clinch, and with 3:00 left slams Randleman to the mat! Couture punching randleman! Couture has Randleman pinned against the fence, and randleman brings up his leg to block the punches. Couture landed several punches, and the crowd begins chanting "randy randy" again.

Randleman bleeding heavily now with 1:50 left! Randleman trying to escape, but Couture lands 4 or 5 huge punches to randlemans face! Randlemans guard is not very effective, couture is landing punches at will almost. Couture lands another flurry with 1 minute left!

Perreti remarks that randleman is clueless about the guard position! Randleman getting destroyed with Couture in a full mount! Big John steps in and stops the fight, its over! Couture is the new champ!
