It sounds as if it's a set match. Have you had the advantage of seeing your opponent and knowing his personality? If so, then you can use that on your side. You can meditate on ways to play with his mind. Doing this is sure to get his adrenaline going, but not out of confidence if you play your cards right. The best thing to do is remember how you trained and the purpose of that training. Before the fight, meditate on easing your nerves and boosting your sharpness. If your moves aren't sharp and concrete, you could slip up. Anticipate what he'll do by watching his movements. Sometimes waiting for him to strike is the best offense. Remember, every second counts.
