These folks make a good point, the instructor should be rolling as well. I also recommend paying attention to how the instructor treats the different ranks in the class(and I don't mean does he speak politely and take your feelings into consideration, if you're looking for that, watch Dr. Phil).

If you see the guy trying to destroy his students as quick as possible, he's probably an asshole that you don't want to train with. The better instructors I've seen grapple to the level of their students, meaning they push their students, but don't try to destroy their confidence.
