I see that you guys know enough bout how can I use my boxin skills, however all I need is names of martial arts that would teach you to shorten distance quikly
Sooooooo you're fighting a kickboxer with kicks allowed, (a kickboxer's game), yet you want to just straight box him with just hands? Sounds to me like you're already at a technical disadvantage - it's no knock on you, it's just that how do you expect to win a match with just hands when you said before he'll be using knee drives and low kicks - plus if you shorten range, he'll be tryin to tie you up and then you'll be eating knees?

My first suggestion would be to learn muay thai.

My second suggestion for closing distances would be to learn muay thai . Seriously, how else are you going to learn to breach a muay thai fighter's defense then to actually LEARN how the defense is set up, then go from there?
