I think most athletes would probably be good considering their physical size and coordination to be a pro in the first place
If they trained properly.
of course anyone trained properly is going to do ok.
damn dude
tough question
Let's see some were boxers, but being a good althlete (and especially an actor) does not translate translate into a boxer. Look at Sapp in PRIDE - I mean he is built like a house, but what a joke as a fighter. His wins have only happened becuase of his size and not his skill (man I hope Tyson brutalizes him). Anyway, I know this is a fantasy question, but like kodankan said anyone can learn boxing principles but to become a boxer is completely different.
Lets say you have an unbeaten street fighter who can box, well his fights are very short and decisive. Now put the fighter, in the ring, probably won't last 7 rounds much less 12 based on conditioning alone.
With all that said I think wesley snipes played a good boxer and Will Smith did an adaquate job. Micky Rourke, MR. T and Carl Wethers were boxers (actually Mr. T I think got fame from the Tough man contests).
I vote for Clint Eastwood - Dirty Harry would kick everyone's azz![]()
A person who is said to be proficient in the arts is like a fool. Because of his foolishness in concerning himself with just one thing, he thinks of nothing else and thus becomes proficient. - Hagarkure

While Ali was an ok movie, the boxing was pretty bad. Most of the punches werent very fast and you could see them pulling them.
But yeah Carl Weathers would probably do ok. His footwork in rocky was actually quite good.
Dolph lundgren I think has either a kickboxing or boxing background.
Shaq would probably do alright, hes reach is just ridiculous but who would they get to fight him?
And maybe Russel Crowe lol. He does get in a bit of brawls.
yeah youve said that before.Originally Posted by jubaji

GAY!
I'm getting confused, was the question about gay boxers, gay actors or gay boxing actors?
it was about actors being boxers...
and i think shaq, will smith, and possibly the rock could hold their own in most places
