Default Muhammad Ali - The Greatest!

Anybody catch the tv ad where he's shown boxing against his daughter, Layla Ali? There's some really cool footage of some of his slicker techniques and his amazing ability to slip a punch. I remember back then I used to dislike him for being so "mouthy", but now I realize I just didn't "get him". There was so much humor in it all, but easy to miss in all the bragging.

I watched him training down at the 5th St. gym in Miami Beach a coupla times. I was just a skinny, pimply-faced punk at the time. I knew who he was but he just looked like any other boxer doing his work. Man! he could move so sweet! Not just power, or speed, or ferocity but a scientific precision that was sheer artistry!

Fist muhamed ali

Remember Ali's phrase "move like a butterfly and sting like a be". I also liked Joe Frazier. My dad died when I was six, but I remember watching boxing films on TV with him late at night.
