i took private lessons from a friend for about 5-6 months yeah, but then i figured 'why am i taking what half the world trains in, i should start a more intense art' no offense to the dedicated boxers out there, because it IS a badass sport, but i mean damn, theres enough people out there that just do punches and it seems pointless to just throw blows back and forth till someone gets knocked out, and i for one dont want to be that one that gets KO'd..if you catch my drift, if u dont ill go on

Hmm, well I can do anything I need to really. My sparring partner Mick, I can run circles around. I have too much enegry he says and im fast considering my size. Another skill Ive found to have is being able to predict what is coming next. Since I started I have lost 3 maybe 4 fights at most, but im not all that good. My endurance is poor. My offense isnt too bad and I can keep up my guard, parry and dodge no problem, but too many hits and im out.

Apparently there isn't a crappy option so I put slugger as it is the next best thing.(although in my last fight I looked a lot more like a brawler)
I am a very large guy so being a speedy outside fighter is just not in the books for me at the moment. I tend to use the first round to get a handle on the other guy's speed and power. Then I just work around his jab to get inside where I can use my size to bully him around and throw body shots and uppercuts. That is unless we are kickboxing in which case I'll stay outside with you a lot more. |

(Hurray first post)
Well I have to go with the slugger type, I actually started to box whenever I saw the anime called: 'hajime no ippo'. And now I'm totally addicted to it, I'm still searching for a boxing gym near my place but I can't find any that's why I'm training on my own bought punchbag. Well to come back on slugger type thing, I also got equipped with ADHD at my birth but since 1-2 year(s) I'm able to partly control it, which means, I can deal massive punches but at the same time think about technique. But I'm just a starting boxer but you all will hear more of me. //Soul P.S: I didn't really have the time to make an introduce topic so consider this as my introduce post. And btw I came here with my friend 'Ippo-Kun', we're both very into boxing. |
