Default Tyson/Freddie Roach - back to basics

http://www.courier-journal.com/cjspo...0723-8702.html

Tyson is silently making his comeback. There's chemistry between Tyson and Roach; like the old chemistry between Tyson and D'Amato. D'Amato is making Tyson work his fundamentals.

Seems like the older Roach is stepping in as the mentor for Tyson and Tyson is listening...

I believe Tyson will make a comeback. He's slowly getting the right people in his life; humble and retired boxers are talking to him and giving him advice.

If the focused, disciplined Tyson comes back, he'll go all the way to the top.

Default Mike tyson Owns

Mike Tyson doesnt need heart to beat most people and theres like 3 people in the world who could beat him in boxing, he doesnt need to beat people because hes got muscles and hes crazy.... crazy beats big, but big and crazy beat everyone... well almost everyone we all remember the lennox lewis bout... but then again lennox "won" against Vitali Klitschko to.... even though if the doctors werent pussies Vitali would have handed lewis his ass.... sooo there are very few who could stand up to Tyson, he doesnt need heart, he needs to fight some people, get money and start training again... then maybe he can try to beat Klitscko (I like tyson but Klitscko would own him) (ukranian Bias lol) , but yeah... anyway....

Default Quitcher Bitching

That cut wasnt a stoppage... jebus that was just a scratch for a ukranian... woman... cmon if he wanted to keep going he should have been allowed to... so what if lewis was spitting out klitchkos blood.... its not like he would have died... he wouldnt have even gone blind... it should only be a stoppage if its something fucking stupid like the guy just standing there getting punched.... like in those fucking rocky movies.... where the fighters would be knocked out and or dead after one combination... there full swinging hay makers... it shouldnt have been stopped... because he wasnt defenseless and knew what he was doing... and knew the risks.

Ummm yeah he did..... if he didnt know what he was doing ... how would he be beating lennox lewis at boxing... if he wasnt in hte right frame of mind to make a simple decision such as yes i want to continue or no i do not.. he wouldnt have been able to kick lewis's ass... which is what he was doing.... not a stoppage.... because he knew what he was doing..

Here's a decidedly more ironic article about the night. Some of it made me laugh out loud. I guess I enjoy a dry sense of humor.

linky

I think Tyson's done. Put a fork in him...
