Passed away 2/4/05...much misunderstood man who reached the pinacle of his career in a very confused era under the scrutiny and conjecture of most of the world, an undisputably talented boxer, 87 years of age.

Schmeling was 99 yrs old when he died.
He was bornd Sept 28th 1905.

just saw it on the news...I guess they had the wrong age down.
