![]() | For a broken strap as you describe, you have a few choices. Take it to a shop where they can stitch or sew leather and see if they can salvage it. But the best way is to just buy another bag. You can get a pretty decent bag fairly cheap. Title http://store.titleboxing.com/speed-bags-platforms.html Ringside http://www.ringside.com/store/produc...4&pagenumber=6 +++++++++++++++++++++++++ as to your question about how to hit it, Basically you will use an ODD number of rebounds to hit it continuously from the SAME side. ( 3 rebounds is normal, but you can use 5 rebounds if you need to..) Don't worry about going "fast". the speed bag is best learned as a "control" bag. speed will come with control. here are a few online sites with training information: speedbagcentral.com for SB training information http://www.speedbagcentral.com/Speed...roduction.html and here: Speed bag basics for the beginner. http://www.rossboxing.com/thegym/thegym20.htm Good luck in your training. speed bag Last edited by speedbag; 03-18-2005 at 06:34 PM.
