![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | 1. Power - My ability to push off from feet, explode from the hips and snap punches to hit hard. 2. Cardio - Can I maintain a good enough pace to win several rounds against someone fighting as hard as I am without sucking wind? 3. Defense - Can I do the following during spontaneous sparring: consistantly slip/parry a jab? Can I parry or get out of the way of a hard cross? Can I block or get out of the way of hooks, uppercuts? 4. Strategy - What is it? How can I make it work? Am I throwing punches consistently to open up a target or am I just trying to damage my way in? Am I playing off the other guy? 5. Stamina - Can I keep my arms up after a few rounds of sparring or pad work? Can I continue to explode as I advance or does it become more of a push? Do my legs get weak after taking a few solid hits? 6. Heart - Can I fight through fatigue? Can I keep focused on winning after losing one round? What are my weak points and how can I defend them? |

| Premiere Member | I know this could be considered under stategy. But I would also add movement. Am I making myself a hard target? Am I moving smoothly without telegraphing? Am I making my opponent guess where I will be defending and attacking from? I think you could have all this skills in the world, but if your telegraphing all your intentions, you're not going to get very far.
