Default Different kinds of gyms

I've been to a couple of different gyms and noticed their differences.

In some gyms, you have recreational boxers maybe with a few ranked amateurs. In these gyms, you have a lot of good sportsmanship and communication between its members and a good deal of organization but the coaches dominate the training.

In other gyms, you have all kinds of fighters from the recreational to professional level; now and then the pros will step in and show you something to help you out but for the most part you are working with your classmates at stuff you allready know and the gym is kind of free-time to work on what you need to, but less organized.

Still in other gyms, the competition between its members is fierce. There is no sharing, rather some hard stares and the fighters here are all ranked. These guys are fighting for their living and they take their trade seriously.

Have you guys experienced different kinds of gyms? Which kind is your favorite and why?
