Thumbs up Maize Ball & Double End Bag tips

Just found some potentially helpful video clips for the DOUBLE END BAG and the MAIZE Ball. (Hard to find good training info on these bags).

Look down the page at the link below and find the training clips for Double End Bag and Maize Ball.

I really didn't like the way he taught the hook either. He placed to much emphasis on the static pivot and not near enough on shifting the weight. It showed in the "arm punches" his fighter was executing on the mitts. They looked deliberate and clumsy. The heavybag information is good, though, even though his technique is a little sketchy. He's teaching all the right things there, talking about the retraction being as important as the extension of a blow, and about shocking the bag instead of pushing it. Of course, when he demonstrates, he's not hitting with much power, so it's hard to see what he meant. He's more or less just touching the bag with his cominations, and there isn't much emphasis on body mechanics.
