![]() | Mabuhay Manny Pacquiao! Great fight. At first I thought Pacman was being too cautious and letting Morales get away from his combos, then after the 6th- when I realized Morales was starting to hurt from all those body shots and Pacman looked fresh- it dawned on me that Manny was trying to (and in the end, did) take Morales to school ( remember Chavez-Haugen kids? nothing but body shots from Chavez, supposedly haugen was pissing blood for a week) Morales' nose looked like it was out of place. Maybe pinoy boxing experts can help me with this one: what is that "Manila ICe" they kept talking about? Is it the flurry of short right punches Pac gave Morales once he came in or the left straight body shot while switching the legs? I would love to know. Salamat |

![]() | Does anyone feel that the media is kind of taking away from Pacquiao's thunder when they say Morales' brutal fights have finally caught up with him? Has Morales fought a ton of brutal fights? Certainly. But isn't it possible that Pacquiao's power was just too overwhelming? Overall, I think the media is giving Manny a ton of credit on a spectacular fight. But this whole loss-justification spin just does not sit well with me. Any thoughts? fozzy40 |
