De La Hoya, I just think hes gonna win...
And I havent been wrong about a boxing fight yet (on this board). Thats all the reason I need..

Okay.. but why, De La Hoya hasn't fought since 04, and Mayorga supposedly chain smokes, lol.

Cause De La Hoya is/was a great fighter ( yeah I said it uke) His last fight he moved up and lost to Bernard Hopkins, oh no, what a shame.

Mayorga threatens pull out! After today's press conference, WBC super welterweight champion Ricardo Mayorga threatened to pull out of Saturday's fight with Oscar De La Hoya unless he is paid $8 million dollars. Although Mayorga signed for $2 million "to lure Oscar into taking the fight," he stated "if I don't get my money, I'm not going to fight. I'm going to make what I deserve....I don't want it to be like the Trinidad fight where Trinidad got all the money." He stated that he was promised eight million and wants to be paid like a champion. Mayorga's promoter Don King said, this is the first he's heard of eight million dollar figure. Mayorga said he would announce later today whether he is fighting or not, "but I'm not fighting unless I get my eight million."

mayorga is not crazy hes just plain dumb..remember when he let trinidad throw all thoses free shots at him on his chin which in fact did really hurt like hell..mayorga is a street fighter,he doesnt belong on the ring
i like trinidad for whoppin them both but if u really wanna know.. id go with de la hoya on this one.

yeah..Mayorga listen buddy,if your not gonna take your title defense seriously and start smokin and drinkin during your training you might as well not show up to the fight..by the way did you see the 2 fighters hug at the end?
  wtf was that all about??..mayorga is one hypoctrite s.o.b.
