![]() | Put some music on, train on stepping in,stepping out, sidestepping left and right, circling both sides as well... in other words to improve your footwork you must train the way you move around.. obvious. Everything else that you mentionned really sums it up.

![]() ![]() | Try adding some Filipino foot work drills to the mix. They are great... you can put some tape down on the floor at first until you get used to the patterns. Make a "V" with the point of it facing you (female triangle) make another "V" with the point facing away from you (male triangle). Start with your feet at the point of the v and step up with your left foot to the left side of the v your right foot will slide yo slightly then back to the point, then step with your right foot to the right side and slide your left foot up slightly. As you are working the foot work start adding your punching... step up left and bend at the knees slightly and throw a straight right to the body followed by a left hook to the body then back to the point, then step up right with a straight left to the body and a right hook to the body. This way you are working throwing power shots with both arms. Also once you are familiar with the above footwork then add the quarter turns to it. You step up left and throw a straight right to the body then a left body hook then you pivot on your left foot turning your body so you are facing your opponent and jab out as you move back. Hope this helps. Train Hard, Train Smart
