If you're trying to cross train for self defense purposes, you could easily add muay thai or some style of grappling (brazillian jiu-jitsu, submission wrestling, judo etc.). or better yet a weapon system. | Registered User | start grappling because it takes a lot of stamina to roll with someone and the more you stretch and do bjj drills, the more flexible you'll be. If you do boxing drills like circle chase drills it will improve your footwork in the ring and your speed. Start running too. :-) |

![]() | Hi Warrior189, I do believe the footwork from Kali will serve you well. Although Kali is known mostly for its stickfighting, it also has some fancy footwork based around using the triangle concept. This concept can be used for slipping and dodging punches whilst countering with your own. Hope it helps. |
