Default best exercise to build rotation strength

Hi just wondering if there are any other exercises to build the hip rotation power. right now i am using a medecine ball to do spin throws, using a broom handle on my shoulders and rotating it, and dumbells. Is there any other useful ways to build those oblique muscles to get more power into punches?

Start you training using traditional methods such as side crunches, russian twists and a few newer exercises such as cable rotations to build strength. Take a medicine ball or a dumbbell and hold it in front of your abs and rotate from side to side as quickly as possible to build power.

Continue to train you normal boxing motions mostly though. The best way to build power in any technique is to practice the technique over and over. New gains in strength thorugh strength training can sometimes take months or years to manifest in your athletic movements.
