You have no choice but to get enough power to blow through his guard...still doing enough damage even with him covering up..but hey,thats just me.
(i would use the left hook on him..its a piercing powerful punch and most of the time he doesnt see it coming from the angle since hes covering his head with his gloves on it's sides.)
