Boxing is just a ring sport!
![]() Every combat sport has some overlap with self defense. That guys jab knocked a few guys down and his cross knocked a few guys out. All he did was jab, cross and parry punches thrown at him.

And he hit them in their vital spots. All of his punches were aimed shots.

Vital spots? I'm still trying to learn kama sutra for that -- that'll bring multiple 'victories' in the battle of the sexes.
Sorry, can't post any videos....the art is too deadly for video.

Wado, you're a twit. It worked very, very well for him, and he threw all his punches (almost exclusively jabs and crosses) from a hands-up boxing ready.
Good video, Tim. He kept his hands up, recovered nicely, and leveled that poor bastard in the white shirt who tried some kind of Wado-Kai flying round kick. Oh wait...maybe that's why wado has a problem with the guy's boxing... |

Dog,
I understand, and agree that the "kick" was nothing short of awful. However, I still maintain that it was probably wado kai in the video, and that the knockout that resulted is the source of his disdain for boxing in general, and that guy in specific. |

Sorry. The closest we could find was Billy Blank's Tae bo...jk. Okinawan karate is good stuff.
