Arab is a cultural thing, like Iranians are Persian not Arabic, but are still muslims.
So technically he is a British-arab in terms of heritage as we dont have a seperate classification beyond nationality in Britain for being British. I bet bigboywasim is from the UK. Its normal in the UK to class oneself in this way. ok just seen his sig and he is american, maybe different areas its different in the states.

Like I said, my friends of Arab descent just call themselves American, so I'd never heard of it either.
But anyway, back to Wasim's topic. Naseem was a great entertainer and a power puncher, but he had the balance of a drunken five year old. Doesn't matter, though. He was tough, took a lot of punishment when he had to, and always put on a great show. George Foreman was in love with him! The video was a good one, Wasim. There's a lot of others on Hamed out in the YouTube and Google Video communities, so please, find your faves and post them here. And thanks to Wasim for reviving one of the best boxing entertainers ever! (By the way, I think the Prince is doing some hard time now, isn't he?) |

Being Arab does not make one Muslim. Most Arabs in many European countries are Muslims. In contrast, most Arabs throughout the Americas are Christian. Most Arabs in both the United States and Brazil are Lebanese. I believe the richest man currently in the world, is an immigrant or son of an immigrant to Mexico, and I believe he is half Arab/Lebanese.
Generally most Arabs in the United States distinguish themselves as so, at least many of the Palestinian (often Muslim) ones do who own corner stores in the central cities. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arab_American |

He's quite the showman! Interesting angles on some of his inside shots and a sweet straight lead. (heavy)

who was his opponent there? i remember him from when i was younger, i forgot how flashy he was, shame what has happened to him now, i know that he was on about a come back but he would need to drop a load of weight.

Regardless of how talented Hamed was, I never liked him or supported his career. With fighters of real ability you always expect a level of supreme confidence and showmanship, but that isn’t what he had. He was just an arrogant, narcissistic, disrespectful little prick, both inside and outside of the ring. Life hasn’t turned out so well for him, can’t say I will be shedding a tear.
