Default George foreman did it at 45; can james toney do it at 40?

December 10 (Los Angeles, CA) - James "Lights Out" Toney is fighting mad and determined to earn one last chance at achieving his goal of becoming one of the oldest fighters to ever win the World Heavyweight Championship. Big George Foreman started his career in 1969 and ended it nicely in 1997 after losing to Jimmy Young. Ten years later, he returned to the ring in 1987. And in a spectacular moment in boxing history, he knocked out Michael Moorer in 1994 when he was 45 years old becoming the oldest Heavyweight world champion in history.

well, I think Forman is probably one of the biggest insperations for us old farts that like to still play.

Tony, he's a talented fighter, but both him and Tyson, dove right into relieing on the overhand punch and that is a puch you have to set up, you can't try and use that as your main punch all the time, unless your fighting blind people. and that would be wrong. Probably not even fun to watch, unless it was a blind mime. Befor that steroid thing, he had a heck of a hook, he just needs to go back to some basics and redevelop that.

another guy, making a comeback is Tommy Morrison, at age 39, it'll be nice seeing him back in the rankings to. But he's been out of the circuit for many years and will have to prove himself first.

I believe both fighters could be ranked in the top 10 within 3 fights. If they pick there fights right. and of course if they win. And not get injured. Getting older and then getting injured, you end up having a longer and longer lay off time trying to recuperate.
