He admits that he can't beat Lennox Lewis. He probably can't KO most heavyweights because he doesn't hit nearly as hard as they are used to being hit. Lewis shook off punches from Tyson....I don't think RJ is going to do much damage. But he is one of the best fighters around.

![]() | To Sk1....: Are You Stupid or something? "he's not the top fighter in the world". He's ranked number one, Duh! You obviously don't know boxing. Oh well! Anyways, I do agree w/ u about the other stuff you said. Lewis, tyson, power, etc. Just spare yourself the embarassment and comment on only what you understand or know about. Plus, shouldn't you be posting on sites like skaateboarding.com or something? lol |

| Registered User | Who in the F*ck are you? Skaateboarding? Riiiight. I know what the rankings say, but let's just say that Arizona was ranked #1 in basketball all year. If you're one of those people that believe that the voters that rank sports are unbiased, you've got alot of learning to do my friend. I don't know boxing because I can form an opinion that isn't based solely off of the opinions of some voters? Sorry, maybe I should be more of a sheep like yourself and just spout off about rankings and other such things that require no thought....on second thought, I'm thinking for you it might be better that way.

![]() | LOL!!! Um....whatever man. I brought up what the ratings say because I wanted to show your dumb-ass that "MY OPINION" isn't alone. It was just for backup. The "ratings right now don't have Wladamir on top anymore, but guess what, I still think he's number one. So, my suggestion to you would be to stop acting like a little brat having a temper tantrum. You loose your temper way to easy, like a little bitch! Anyways, grow up! Take my advise and go to a sk8 chatroom faggot! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Roy JJ is the Micheal Spinks of the new millenium. He's really quick and is capable of putting the hurt on bigger guys. Honestly though, some pro-boxers who are smaller can pack a wallup. Go to your gym and spar a few rounds with a guy who is 20+ pounds lighter than yourself, but has a 12-0, 11 professional record. I admit I'm just an amateur, but you will get schooled by the smaller guy. They are frustrating. I consider myself to be somewhat quick, but these guys are in,out and gone by the time you throw 1,2. You can't hit them, you chase them, try to cut them off, but they can throw hard punches while backing away from you. Its just not fair; you chase these little guys, you get lucky with jab/hook and then you chase them again and then they throw 4 uppercuts faster than a blender! |

![]() | I guess none of the comments made about Roy Jones, Jr. is wrong. The man is definitely one of the best boxers ever. I think that he is now in the downward phase of his career where he feels he needs to "put on a show" by fighting heavyweights so he is more careful about his opponents. Many don't like this but I feel this is a smart move. Jones wants to make maximum $ for every punch he takes. In "Rocky II" when Rocky was turned down for a desk job and advised to go back to boxing he said something like ... "Ever take 500 punches in one night? After a while it starts to sting a little bit." Smartest thing for Jones to do is stay out of the heavyweight division and take on some of the smaller guys like the winner (or loser) of De la Hoya-Hopkins. I'm still waiting for him to fight Dariusz Michalczewski, an Eastern European champion. |
