Jones Jr. v. Klitschko or Hollyfield

This just in from a reputable boxing website.
"Jones is pursuing a fight with Evander Holyfield, though the WBA wants him to defend against Klitschko instead."

What do you guys think? Jones Jr. will need to work on counterpunching against either fighter. Byrd vs. Holyfield showed that (Hollyfield) was suprised by Byrd's feint/counterpunch style. Holyfield is a strong and intelligent fighter, whose KO's include Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe, Hasim Raman and Lennox Lewis (by decision). Hollyfield can fight smart and hard for 12 rounds! If this goes through, I think it will be a great fight with suprises from both fighters, but I would have to give it to Hollyfield at around 7-8. No doubt that Jones can hurt heavyweights (a.ka. Ruiz), but can he take hits from Hollyfield? I think they will add up.

Against Klitschko, he will have to change the distance against a taller fighter. Klitschko can reach across the ring and Ko opponents by firing straights right down the middle. Klitschko is 6'7", 245 and has an 81" reach! His chin is untested though because a realitvely unknown Corrie Sanders (south paw) from South Africa Kod Klitschko not too long ago by getting inside. If Jones fights with the jab, he will get nailed. If he works his defense and gets inside, he could score/hurt Klitschko. Assuming Jones takes this strategy and Klitschko relies on what he does best (one two down the middle), I could see Jones winning by points with some knock downs later in the bout.

Sorry for writing so much, but I like to watch fights.

I think roy Jones will get knocked out by either boxer. Even though he is my favorite fighter. I think a fight between Roy JOnes and Tyson would gross the most amount of money in boxing history, but thats a diffrent topic. Peace

A Tyson fight would make BIG MONEY, but it wouldn't be in Roy's Best Interest. I think his best bet will be w/ Byrd. Reason: Byrd at least has a title too be won. So Roy won't be putting his new title "on the line" for nothing . Know what I mean? Besides, it's a sure deal he'll get hammered by Mike, Gladamir, or Evander. I Like Roy alot, and give him mad props, but lets not push it. Know what I mean? Also, Lewis is definitely out of the question, agree?

No doubt Lewis is out of the question. Byrd v Jones Jr would be a really good match up. I wouldn't mind seeing him against Klitschko; we could see if his speed is truly as good as its said to be.

RJJ vs. Wladamir would be entertaining, but roy would have no shot in my opinion.

How about Byrd v. Klitschko. You've got the "calm counterpuncher" fighting the "8 foot jab, cross"

That could be an entertaining fight. To be honest, even with wladamir's recent upset, I'd have to say he'd beat byrd. What do u think?

I really don't know about Byrd v Klitschko. Byrd schocked us by nailing Hollyfiled with all those counter punch body shots. I think it would be a good fight!

Both klitschko's have already fought against byrd. Wladamir beat him and Vitaly lost to him.

Jr is a Goldfish Inside a Shark Tank, Klits or Hollyfield would use him as bait.

Actually I think Jr is a dolphin in a shark tank. Alot of speed minus the teeth.
