    Bag gloves & hand wraps

Do you guys prefer hitting the heavy bag with hand wraps only, or bag gloves as well? I can remember a few guys who used only hand wraps... In martial arts, some guys don't use any wraps which can be dangerous.

I started out using Century bag gloves, but they're a bit cheap and your hands get very sweaty. Ringside has good bag gloves... However, now I find myself using the Klikskin MMA glove on the bag... I just like the feel and it motivates me. Also, it's open thumb and palm so my hands stay relatively dry.

How about you guys? Use any NHB gloves or anything special?

I bought some Century bag gloves and they suck. Right now I'm using open finger (Kenpo style) sparring gloves. So far they seem to be ok.

ive always used hand wraps, i like to not protect my hand a lot because if i ever need to use it, i dont wana lose due to the pain in my hand from hitting a person... its much more realistic to train with hand wraps, because you wont have gloves in the world of a real fight.... but if you are training hardcore for a few hours with a bag, i would use bag gloves, because your hand will not be able to take the impact repetitively for a few hours..... just my .02 cents

i always use wraps and bag gloves. Normally i use 8-10 oz fight gloves. i ran into a few minor hand and shoulder problems when i first stared because i would only use wraps and i would hit the bag for extended periods. No matter how strong we think are hands are, the reality is that your hand contains very small, fragile bones and it's wise to protect them. Why risk missing 6-8 or even longer of training?

I use hand-wraps and bag gloves (everlasts). But i do like 5 minutes or so in my work-out just hitting with hand-wraps. It gives my hands enough pain and that to be used of it.
    Undefeated! Never fought before though!
