If he were smart, Joe would walk away. That's how Roy lost. He stayed even after he got old. Joe against Roy before Roy went up to heavyweight would have been an easy sparring match for Roy. Now, these days Roy can't even get rid of former welterweight Trinidad in 12 rounds. Sometimes ego is worse than a glass jaw or brittle hands.

And yes ... Lewis would know. He knew his days were numbered and left after getting a lucky stoppage over Vitali. Sound advice from one boxer to another boxer who created a legacy by beating great boxers who were way out of there hay day.

This fight was basically Rocky Marciano vs Joe Louis, under the same conditions.
