Default A question to Burton

What do you think of Northern Praying Mantis?

I'm in the process of trying out a school ( free lessons for a month!)

So far it doesn't seem bad.

www.jademountain.org That is where I'm attending. How does this look?

Suggestion's of a kung-fu style? Thank you sir

It all depends upon what you are looking for. As a combat tool, you just want to make sure that the school is doing lots of sparring in all the ranges. As a martial art of artistic expression, Mantis is very interesting. Try as many schools as you can and choose the one that fits your personality and goals. Aloha!

He's been told all this.

He wants to become an ultimate Kung Fu warrior and, of course, wants to do it with minimal effort.
