Realistic training always comes back to resistance. Make sure your partner resists your techniques, and tries his best to get you.
On careers, I like hearing about the varied backgrounds of intelligent martial artists. It is great to do what you love for a career!

Well, there may be a few people who object to you using intelligent near my name....  If you can do what you love to do, it makes getting up every day a whole lot easier.(where did you go C?) William
