I'm too far away, but can you tell us more about JJJ lets say compared to BJJ?

Not too much to say. It's the art of the Samauri. When the Samauri lost, broke or was caught without his sword--he used JJJ. Basically, it's kicks, punches, locks, throws and breaks. BJJ, is better for sport or ring--just like the Marines, BJJ has the reputation; which was earned in combat. JJJ is like a second cousin to Judo, in fact some people cannot distinguish between the two. I only use JJJ when I am caught without my weapon or weapons.

There are several old threads here on JJJ--just do a search.

    Bowing out.

Are there any particular threads or specific posts that you would suggest? As in something you feel is particularly interesting or accurate from a historical standpoint or applies to a specific style? What Ryu is your jujutsu from?

    Thanks!
